    Guide to Downloading SPSS Software.

    🌎 To install or use SPSS as a member of the university, you must be connected to the university network via the GlobalProtect VPN client. A VPN connection via a browser is not sufficient for this purpose.

    Only the download of SPSS can be carried out without a VPN connection.

    Step 1: Go to https://portal.academicsoftware.com and enter your HSBO email address:

    3. You will be shown an overview page indicating which data will be shared with the service provider.

    You should change the radio button by selecting “Ask again at next login”.

    Then click the “Accept” button.

    4. Read, agree to, and approve the information (this is only required the first time 😉).



    5. Using the ≡ menu (Apple users):

    or select “Software” in the navigation bar:





    6. Click IBM SPSS Statistics to download the software.



    The download can be repeated as often as required.
