MacOS Guide
‼️You need an internet connection to set up eduroam. We recommend using our HSBO_Gast Wi-Fi network for this. You can also find instructions for connecting to it on our website.
☑️Open the following page in your browser: https://cat.eduroam.org/
➡️Click on the highlighted button.
☑️Select Hochschule Bochum.
☑️Select eduroam Wi-Fi.
➡️Click on the highlighted button.
⏱️Wait a few seconds for the download to complete.
➡️Go to your Mac’s System Settings and open Device Management.
🖱️Double-click the eduroam profile you just downloaded to start the installation.
☑️Select Install
☑️Select Continue.
➡️Enter your HSBO login credentials in the following format:
➡️Enter your password.
➡️Click Install.
‼️Confirm the installation on your Mac using your personal device password.
✅You can now use eduroam.
❌If you are still unable to connect, check that you have entered your correct HSBO password.
To do this, remove the eduroam profile from Device Management, restart the process from the beginning using these instructions, and enter the correct credentials.
